COMPUTER FORMS MANUFACTURING PLANTS

Alois Gutenberg plants incorporate proven design features, which guarantee finest print quality at high speeds. The entire system is based on automation to achieve high productivity and low wastage. Its rugged construction assures day-in, day-out reliability under the most demanding conditions.

There are six ranges available :

1) Q-TEC 2400 Series

The Q-TEC 2400 series is a high-speed web offset machine, having 1-5 printing towers capable of printing up to 20" width & 24" length. These machines have a maximum speed of 30,000 feet per hour. Standard cutoffs available are 12", 8", 6", 4", 3" and 2", two 10" forms can be produced simultaneously, thus doubling your form production capacity. Machines have a 10 HP, 440 volt power requirement.

2) Qompac 120 Series

The Qompac 120 is a single color web offset continuos forms manufacturing machine and has a maximum speed of 12,000 forms per hour. A standard configuration of one printing tower with 12" cutoff is available . Unit requires just 3 HP single phase power supply.

3) Qompac 1200 Series

The Qompac 1200 Series ia a high speed web offset machine, having 1-4 printing towers capable of printing up to 20" width & 12" length. This machine has a maximum speed of 120 meters per minute (400 forms). Standard cutoffs possible with 12" cassette are 12", 6", 4", 3", 2", with a non-image gap of just 5 mm. Since the machine can handle a web width of 20", two forms of 10" width can be produced simultaneously, thus doubling your forms production capacity to 800 forms per minute. Qompac 1200 requires just 3 HP, 220-v electric supply.

4) Quickform

The Quickform Pack-to-Pack machine is used for over-printing of computer forms. It is a single color offset unit with standard 12" cut-off, tractor in-feed and out-feed, sinking table, and 1 HP DC motor, with controls. The forms can be re-fed for printing multi color jobs and 100% registration is assured. The Quickform has a maximum speed of 8000 forms per hour.

5) QXPress

The QX Press is a compact continuous forms manufacturing and rotary label die cutting machine. The machine incorporates proven design features that guarantee the finest print quality at high speeds. Its rugged construction assures day-in-day-out reliability under the most demanding conditions. The QX Press is operator friendly with easy access to controls. Its height makes it very convenient to operate with all the controls within easy reach. The excellence in design ensures clear sprocket holes, accurate perforation, perfect die-cutting and sharp print quality.

6) Genuss 2000 Multipart Collator

This is a high-speed pack collator and can collate upto 4 parts at once. It has a maximum speed of 8000 sets per hour. The Genuss 2000 works on a 220V, single phase power supply.

LABEL CONVERTING MACHINE

RD 300

The RD-300 is a compact high-speed label converter for making rotary die-cut labels. The machine consists of unwinder, two standard rotary-die cutting stations, waste rewinder, slitting, sheeter (optional), rewinder, central lubrication, control panel, and tension control rollers, The RD-300 can handle roll widths upto 305 mm and has a maximum speed of 60 meters per minutes (200 feet). It requires just 2 HP, 220V electric power

NEWSPAPER PRESS

Newspaper Machine

Alois Gutenberg’s Newspaper printing machines are for short and medium run newspapers. These machines have web offset, “perfection type” printing units. Newspaper machines are available in 3 cutoff sizes – standards, times and tabloid. The machine incorporates proven design features that guarantee the finest print quality. Its rugged construction assures day-in day-out reliability under the most demanding conditions. They are very operator friendly, with easy access to controls.

AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT

1) Plate Exposing Unit

The Web Offset Plate Exposing and developing system is equipped with 1000 watt mercury vapor lamp and vaccum chamber for the plate unit, which assure high quality of reproductivity. The power requirement for this unit is 220 V, single phase power supply.

2) Plate Baking Unit

The Plate Baking Unit for baking pre-sensitized offset plates to increase the plate run-life by approximately 250%. This is a special baking chamber wherein the plates are baked under controlled temperatures to harden the image area of the plate. Plates once baked, become tempered and cannot be scratched, reducing the wear and tear, reducing the changeover time, and increasing the shelf life of plates for reruns. This unit requires 220 V, 15 Amps, 1 phase power supply.
